Born and raised in Charleston, Dr. Martin Toporek is proud to serve the community he has always called home. He attended Porter-Gaud School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. He then received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating with distinction and earning the Merit Award for Fixed Prosthodontics (crowns and bridges).

With a foundation rooted in both science and artistry, Dr. Toporek approaches dentistry as a refined balance of precision, function, and aesthetics. His background in microbiology reinforces a deep commitment to safety, sterility, and clinical excellence in every aspect of patient care.

Dr. Toporek is known for his gentle, thoughtful approach and creating a calm and comfortable experience where patients feel genuinely cared for. He takes time to understand each individual’s goals and combines advanced dental techniques with an artistic eye to craft natural, harmonious smiles.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and embracing the coastal lifestyle and cultural richness of Charleston.
